Hi, I'm Marcy.
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, therapist, wife, and mom of four. For years, I've had the privilege of walking alongside people through anxiety, grief, trauma, life transitions, and the beautiful, messy reality of being human.
Throughout my work, I've noticed something profound: so many of us have been taught to fight our emotions. We silence them, outrun them, judge them, or believe they need to be fixed before we can fully live.
I don't believe that's where healing begins.
My work is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), while drawing from years of clinical experience and a deep respect for the complexity of the human experience. I've come to believe that emotional health isn't about eliminating difficult feelings—it's about learning to relate to them differently.
That belief became the foundation for Equatheia.
Equatheia was created as a place to slow down in a world that constantly asks us to speed up. A place where depth is valued over quick fixes, curiosity replaces self-judgment, and emotional health is understood as a lifelong relationship rather than a destination.
Whether you're navigating anxiety, overwhelm, parenting, change, or simply longing to feel more connected to yourself, my hope is that you'll find this to be a place of honesty, growth, and grace.
Thank you for being here.
I'm honored to walk alongside you.
